Georgia families can have a fun, active day at the zoo courtesy of Zoo Atlanta and the Georgia Public Library Service. The Zoo Atlanta Family Pass program gives free admission for a family of four to adults with a valid library card.
The Family Pass program began in February 2011 and has provided Georgia children with opportunities to visit the zoo, participate in its programs and special events. It has also saved families thousands of dollars in admission fees.
Passes are available at any participating library branch in Georgia. To use the pass, families must first rent the Zoo Atlanta Family Pass program DVD from their library branch. When they return the DVD to the library, they will collect their receipt, which is required for zoo admission. The pass is valid for seven days after the return of the DVD to the library.
Families are limited to one pass per year, per household. For more information, visit Zoo Atlanta’s website.
